At Stop Spammers, we want to be a one stop shop for disabling spam in all its forms. We know that email bombardments, even if well-intended, is one particular thorn in the sides of many. Let’s not have your website add to the clutter.
WordPress sends its admins all kinds of emails. If you’re the admin of several sites or a membership site with a big base, you’re likely receiving dozens of emails every single day. Take some control over what WordPress sends you with a new feature by Stop Spammers. We are tackling the endless email spam from two fronts. With 11 new settings, you can control what emails are sent to the admin as well as users on your site.
A big win for me is disabling automatic plugin and theme updates. I have certain plugins and themes I trust set to auto update, but I don’t need a notification every time they do so. They spam my inbox at all hours of the day. If I really needed to manually review, I would simply disable auto updates.
You can check out these new features on the Challenge and Block page under the stop spammers menu.
