Put the NO! in admin notifications. Plugins can notoriously spam your admin, burying the important stuff with messages asking you to rate, upgrade, activate, and so on. They’re almost as annoying as the bots that abuse your forms, wasting your time with spammy comments, fake user accounts, and email submissions.
Choose to Hide Admin Notices
As part of our goal to harden your website, we have turned our focus to the WordPress backend. Plugin spam is a problem, and now we have you covered. If you have Stop Spammers 2021.6x installed, you will see a “Keep Hidden” button in the bottom right corner of an admin notice. If you select the button, the notice will be hidden even if the plugin that showed the notice is updated or deleted and re-installed.
Several Pro Options
In addition to the big update in Stop Spammers, we have added even more notification control options in Stop Spammers Premium. With one click, you can disable most admin spam rather than individually by enabling the “Hide All Admin Notices”.
Curate what WordPress sends the website administrator and disable emails for:
- Updates
- Comments
- Password resets (when someone else has reset their password)
- New user registrations
Do away with the ugly nags and nudges by hiding update notices from:
- WordPress core
- Themes
- Plugins
And finally, you can reset the notices you have chosen to hide individually by the user currently logged in or for all users.
We are very proud of the work we have put into this latest suite of features. Let us know what you think!
